Stray Ducklings Calendar of Cards April & May

Well, silly me! I missed 2 months worth of cards! 😞 This cute little bunny card was April's Calendar of Cards submission. It was designed by Darlene Anstett. It's amazing what you can create with framelits and punches. This cutie was made by using the Layering Oval Framelits, the 1", 1/2" & 1 3/8" Circle punches, Sweet & Sassy Framelits    & the Owl Builder punch.  The finishing touch is the Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon bow.

May's card was designed by Christine Thomas. Chris used Vertical Greetings & Touches of Texture stamp sets, the Petal Burst embossing folder and Linen Thread. I just love the soft colors Chris chose for this card and those vertical greetings are awesome!

Stray Ducklings Calendar of Cards August, Sept & October

This is the August Card made by ME :) I used the Nailed It bundle and the Hexagon embossing folder with Silver Foil Sheets, Delightful Dijon, Early Espresso and Whisper White cardstocks.

September's card was designed by Greta Whittmore at http://getcreativewithgreta.blogspot.com. Greta used the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, Floral Boutique DSP, Irresistibly Floral DSP, Dapper Denim ribbon, Marina Mist ink.

October's card was made by Linda Pohl. Linda used the Yummy in my Tummy stamp set, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, &  Tangerine Tango cardstock

Come back tomorrow to see the last two cards from our event. :)

Calendar of Cards June & July

Today I'm showcasing two more cards from our Calendar of Cards event we held at the beginning of the Month.

Our June card was designed by Terese Burdette. Terese used the Falling for You stamp set, Stylish Stems Framelits, Lace Doilies and the Falling in Love Embellishments to complete her card. Isn't it beautiful? I also love the color combination of Soft Sky, Tip Top Taupe & Very Vanilla she chose. So creative!

Our July card was designed by our own Stray Ducklings "Mama Duck," Lori Helvick. You can visit Lori's blog HERE. Lori tirelessly leads our group of demonstrators here in Central Illinois and does an amazing job of it! Lori's card uses the Work of Art & Thoughtful Banners stamp sets, the Star Framelits, Silver Foil Sheets and Real Red, Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstocks.

Stray Ducklings Calendar of Cards - January

A couple of Saturdays ago, our local group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators held a Calendar of Cards event in Peoria. Participants made a card for each month of the year and a bag to carry them in. This card was designed by our fearless leader, Mama Duck, Lori :) You can visit her blog HERE.

Lori used the Birthday Banners stamp set to create this card. I just love the sentiment she chose. :)

Stay tuned. I'll bring you the other projects over the next few days.

Just  a reminder, Sale-A-Bration only has 10 days left. Don't miss this opportunity to get a FREE item for every $50 you spend! Contact me for details.

Chicken Coop

Happy St. Patty's Day! I have a fun card for you today :)

I saw this idea over at France Martin's blog. She made an adorable chicken coop. I just knew I wanted to make one too, but add my spin to it. So, I started with her idea and inevitably, it ended up in a project of me re-screening (is that a word?!) our patio door. Yep, you read that right. I needed screen material for the card I wanted to do. Our screen door was a mess (yea, that's what happens when you have lots of animals) so, in Frenchie's words, "Viola!" repaired screen and had enough material leftover for a cute card as a bonus! 😉

I used an Urban Underground Embellishment for the door handle and used the Labeler Alphabet stamps for the sign.
Unfortunately the Hey Chick stamp set will be ending along with Sale-A-Bration in 2 weeks. 😞😞 Don't miss your opportunity to get yours free with a $50 purchase before March 31st!

Mojo Monday 487

Today is another Mojo Monday card. I used the Stamp Set Easter Message for this one and water-colored it using our Aqua Painter. I used Designer Series Paper from the Succulent Garden pack and used the palm stamp from the set to make the background DSP.

The card base is Calypso Coral with Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron. The flower was punch out using the Petite Petals punch and accented with a White Perfect Accent.

Here's the sketch we were assigned over at Mojo Monday. You can visit the blog HERE.

I hope you've enjoyed today's entry. Please come back and see me soon. :)
