Kitchen Challenge Card

I made this kitchen card for a challenge from my Upline, Linda Bauwin.

I started with a panel of Whisper White 4 1/4 x 7 1/2 scored at 1" & 2" from each end
The kitchen utensils & faucet were made using the Apron Builder Framelit Dies
The cabinet handles were made using the Sliding Door Framelit Dies & Silver Foil Sheets
The stove front, sink and burners were also made from the Silver Foil Sheets

The apple pie was made using the basket weave folder which will be available when the new catalog comes out on June 1st :)

The cabinets are made out of the Wood Textures DSP and the wallpaper is from Petal Garden. The final touch was the heart wall hangings made from the In-Color Glitter embellishments
All of this and it still folds flat to fit in an A2 envelope :)

Stray Ducklings April Blog Waddle - Unicorns

Welcome to our Stray Ducklings Monthly Blog Waddle!
You may have gotten here from Sue Boerner's  blog or you're starting here. Either way, we're glad to have you join us!
Today's technique share is one we did at a recent event.
I chose to do the reflection stamp & die cut technique.
See how the bottom unicorn is flipped exactly opposite of the top one?
All you have to do is stamp on a piece of acetate with our Basic Black or Basic Gray archival ink then press that onto a piece of cardstock.
You die cut it by placing the die on the backside of your image.
Et Viola! Mirrored Image!

I dropped ink from our re-inkers in Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist onto a baby wipe and used the stamp from Flourishing Phrases to make the swirl.

Try it yourself today!

Now, on with the blog waddle!
Next in line is Debbie Kramer

In case you get lost during the waddle, here's our complete list of Waddlers:

What a weekend!!!!!

This weekend at Stampin' Up's! OnStage was an amazing whirlwind of activity!
I just love spending time with these wonderful compassionate women!

To make the event even more special, I got to spend time with my Upline, Linda Bauwin. I don't get to see her in person often because she lives 7.5 hours from me. I really look up to her. She's worked very hard at this business and is currently celebrating $1.2 Million in Sales!
I can't even imagine! 😲

I can't share the new stuff - yet 😉 But, rest assured, I will as I can.
The new catalog is AH-MAZ-ING!

The retiring list will be available at 2pm CST today, so I'll post it when I can.

I hope you all have a Stampingly awesome day!

Heading North WOOHOO!!!

I am SUPER stoked this morning!
I get to go to Milwaukee for weekend with some pretty wonderful women!
It is Stampin' Up's OnStage time!

What is that? You ask. Well, it's a flurry of fun activities! One of those fun activities is swapping cards with other demos to get new ideas. I made 50 this year and they're several different styles.

Stampin' Up! also reveals the new 2018-2019 annual catalog!!! We get to make items using product from the that Catalog (that goes live on June 1st) and Stampin' Up! gives us lots of goodies before anyone can buy them!

It's so much fun!!!!!

But, the BEST part is that I get to spend time with some of the greatest women I have the pleasure of knowing! I feel so blessed that God brought these women into my life via stamping.

You could join us at the next OnStage. I'd love to have you on my team.
You could get $125 worth of product for $99 and enjoy all of these perks too with no further obligation!

Click HERE to find out how.

I'll catch ya on the flip side with some pics of our fun event.

Ending the Hiatus

Long time, no blog.
Last week I was vacationing with the family in a condo in Florida.
Right before we left, I had to put my old horse, Griz, down.

I guess I just needed a time-out from everything.
I've been feeling a little lost and am pushing myself to get going again. Hence the disappearing act. I think my heart's just been trying to heal.

So, here it goes.

The star of today's project is our new Stamparatus tool that will be available when the new catalog goes live on June 1st. I was allowed to purchase it early and lemme tell ya, it's AWESOME!
It allows you to position your stamps perfectly.
The Amazing Congratulations stamp from the Occasions catalog is the perfect stamp to use in our new Stamparatus too. I love the multi-colored options you can get with it.

Aren't they cute?!
