Copper Christmas Challenge Card

Good morning friends!
I have a fun fold card for you today showcasing many of the beautiful items in the new Holiday Catalog.
Just look at all that bling. If you're like me, the shinier the better. I'm definitely a bling & sparkle kind of girl! I was inspired to make this card by 2 cards I saw at a recent stamping event in Champaign.
I used the Christmas Tree branch die cuts from the Staircase Thinlet Dies to make the wreath.
Check out that awesome Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible ribbon!
The Joyous Noel Shimmer paper adds the perfect touch to the beautiful Joyous Noel DSP
It folds flat for mailing in a regular A2 envelope.
What a great fold to really show off both the inside and outside of your card!

I know I've been MIA. It's prime riding season here in the Midwest. I've been prepping my horses for our annual Missouri trip. We leave tomorrow for 10 glorious days in the Ozarks.

I'll probably be very hit and miss through October.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of September and first week of October. I'll catch ya on the flip side.
HAPPY STAMPING!

Quick, Easy & Cute fun fold card -Signs of Santa Bundle

Hello Stampers! Happy Wednesday!
Today's card is so much fun! I participated in a swap last month. We had to make 30 cards - 20 completed and 10 kits.
I did half in Poppy Parade
And the other half in Garden Green
The star of the show, however, was the cute Signs of Santa bundle. As you can see, I let the Santa's Workshop DSP (designer series paper) do the work for me. It made it so easy! The funnest part was deciding which DSP to put with which cardstock then picking out the character that best matched for the belly band. The die cuts in the bundle made it so easy!

Cute li'l buggers, ain't they? 😉
I added 2 Epoxy Droplets to the belly band and Viola!finished fun-fold card!
Super easy and fun!

His Light for the Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

Welcome to the September edition of the Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle. We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from North Central Illinois who share our passion for stamping. This month we are creating projects from the new Holiday Catalog. I am featuring the His Light stamp set. I was inspired by the sample in the catalog on page 26.

To make the sentiment panel, I started by filling a Stampin' Spritzer 2/3 with alcohol. I added a few drops of Frost White Shimmer Paint and Night of Navy reinker. I shook it well and sprayed the Whisper White cardstock with it. The picture does not do it justice. It's gorgeous!

Then I put the REJOICE stamp on my Stamparatus and inked it up using Balmy Blue, Pacific Point & Night of Navy inks with a sponge dauber.

To get the background image I used the evergreen from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and stamped it sideways. Then I placed the sentiment panel over the top to create the look of a pine bough.

I also used it on the edge of the inside and the envelope. Cool eh? It's always fun to use a stamp differently :)

And that's it for my project. Our next waddler is the talented Debbie Kramer
