Country Home with Chicken Wire

Happy Wednesday!
You've made it to mid-week :)
I want to share a nice autumn card with you today - Country Home meets Chicken Wire Elements.
This card was a huge success at last week's class. Not only does everyone love the Country Home stamp set, but they love the Chicken Wire element we used as a background. It really sets it off, don't you think?

We colored the images using Stampin' Blends on the front and watercolor pencils (to give a softer look) inside. Easy Peasy and coloring is so relaxing.
If you need any supplies and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I'd love to help you out.
~Happy Stamping!~

Country Road

It's starting to sounds like a John Denver song in here!
♫♪ Country Road, take me home... ♪♫

Being a horse person, I just had to have this Country Road Stamp Set.
Yes, I know that's a weathervane, but it counts because it has a horse on it ;)
I saw this card on Pinterest and just knew I had to make it - and make it in several colors.
And since I have a lot of horse-loving friends, I've used them all already!
Of course I have to decorate the inside and the envelopes as well.

The weathervan and the sentiment were done using versamark and our copper embossing powder. I think they just make it pop, don't you?
Last weekend I was invited to a country wedding for some horse friends. Their colors were white and burlap, so the set came out again.

I just love it and know I'll get a lot more future use of it.
I hope you like it too.
Have a Happy Stampingly Day!

Stray Ducklings October Blog Waddle

Welcome to the Stray Ducklings October 2018 Blog Waddle.  We are showcasing Fall/Thanksgiving projects this month.

You may be starting the Blog Waddle here or you may have arrived here from Nancy Legate.  Either way, you’ve come to the right place!  Once you've completed your visit with me, you’ll find the full line-up below to help you “waddle,” along from duckling to duckling.

One of our fellow ducklings, Josie Wicklund, made this type of card for a recent swap we attended. I just changed the colors to a Fall theme. Cute and simple!

Flip it over, put the sentiment on the back and you've got a beautiful card that was easy to make. Gotta like that!

Now, on with the Blog Waddle. Next in line is Sheryl Diemer I can't wait to see the wonderful card she'll share with us!
