Stampin' Up! Color Challenge Card #1 #keepstamping

Stampin' Up! started giving us weekly color challenges last week. I plan to use my "Stamp with me at 3" FB Live every Monday afternoon to play along. Today was that day :)
#keepstamping

This was our color palette

The colors screamed "tropical" to me, or maybe that's because our tropical vacation we were suppose to leave for this Wednesday, got cancelled  due to the coronavirus. Either way I decided to use Seaside Notions. I think it fits, don't you?

The inside of the card and the envelope.

I'd love for you to play along and see what you come up with. If you do, please use #keepstamping to share your creation.

HAPPY STAMPING!

Easter Cards for Class

Hello there Happy Stampers!
Today I want to share a card we made in class last week. I gave attendees the choice of which card they wanted to do so I decided to share both with you today.
I love that little rabbit. He's so cute! However the cross is very elegant and portrays the real reason for our upcoming holiday. Decisions, decisions! I'm glad I got to do BOTH! LOL!

The card design was CASEd from Peggy Murwin.

Country Home with Chicken Wire

Happy Wednesday!
You've made it to mid-week :)
I want to share a nice autumn card with you today - Country Home meets Chicken Wire Elements.
This card was a huge success at last week's class. Not only does everyone love the Country Home stamp set, but they love the Chicken Wire element we used as a background. It really sets it off, don't you think?

We colored the images using Stampin' Blends on the front and watercolor pencils (to give a softer look) inside. Easy Peasy and coloring is so relaxing.
If you need any supplies and don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I'd love to help you out.

Watercolored Nailed It

 Good morning crafters!
When I first saw the Nailed It set in the Occasions Catalog, I just knew it was going to be a big hit. We always need masculine cards and let's face it, guys are hard to make or buy cards for! This set solves that problem and is so fun to play with!

I used Delightful Dijon as the base. I stamped the hammer and saw in black archival ink and watercolored them with our new Watercolor Pencils. I can't get enough of those! They're so easy to use! After they dried, I masked them with a post-it note and stamped the nails & screws in Smoky Slate.

I embellished a Foil Sheet with our new Hexagon Textured Impressions Embossing Folder to add some depth to my card. That folder sure makes and impression! (Pun intended).
I added the sentiment from the stamp set and cut it out using the matching framelits.

Et Voila! All done!

Mojo Monday #483 Blog Entry

Today I am participating in the Mojo Monday #483 sketch challenge. Each Monday we are given a sketch to use to create a card. Today I chose to use the Carousel Birthday stamp set and coordinating Cupcakes & Carousels DSP. I LOVE both of these items. They make it so easy to put a card together. This card literally came together in less than an hour! That's a record for me! Anyone who knows me, knows I ponder craft ideas into the ground before I actually get them down on the cardstock. Between having this sketch and the coordinating products, it makes me look like an artist.

I LOVE THAT!

After all, that's why I became a Stampin' Up! Demo. Their products and tools make me look good! LOL!

I used the new Watercolor Pencils to color both the carousel horse and the letters. They are so easy to use! I finished off the card with some Peekaboo Peach ruched ribbon.

Here's the sketch design.

I stamped off the carousel image in Sahara Sand and used it for a background image to the sentiment inside the card.
And did you notice...I was able to sneak a horse in today's post! ;)
