You Always Deliver

Hello Stampers! We've been doing some Mystery Stamping over on my FB Business page www.facebook.com/kimskreativekorner
This card was a result of one of those projects. I love it as it's not a design I would've ever done on my own, yet it's so cute!

That's what I've been finding is so awesome about the Mystery Stamping - so many designs that I wouldn't have chosen to do on my own and I end up LOVING the final result. We'd love for you to join us. I give the list of items needed on Friday then the clues to put the cards together come out every hour on the hour starting at 9am on Saturdays. So.Much.Fun!
This stamp set, You Always Deliver, is retiring at the end of May :( I think it's a wonderful set to remember your postal carrier or the UPS man or Fed Ex man. So many rare options.
How would YOU use it?

Stampin' Up! Color Challenge #4 Best Dressed #keepstamping

Good morning Stampers!
It's a gorgeous day here in Illinois today - yippee!!!! I heard there were hummingbirds spotted in the area so I spent this morning filling hummingbird feeders and oriole feeders. We did have a pair of beautiful yellow and black finches at our finch feeder this morning - FINALLY! I love watching the birds (you know, because I needed MORE animals to feed-poor Mike! LOL) Hence, the reason I'm behind on my post today 😉🐦

Onto today's card...I made this card yesterday during my "Stamp With Me at 3" Facebook Live.
Cool huh? It's a Diagonal Easel Card. As always, I used Stampin' Up's Color Challenge as my theme. The color palette for the #4 Challenge this week is Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive, Blushing Bride and Gorgeous Grape. Pretty! Pretty!

I chose to use the Best Dressed DSP for this challenge since it had all 4 of the colors right there in the paper. WIN!
Isn't it fun how this card stands up? I also used the Tufted embossing folder on it. It's so feminine, IMHO, but it's retiring. It's only available while supplies last or until June 2nd then it's gone forever.
This card folds nice and flat so it can be mailed without any extra postage.

Check out the replay of my videos below. "Videos?" You may ask. "As, in plural?" Yep. Unfortunately I got off to a great start and my phone just shut down. YaY. Me. LOL

We got set back up, but I lost some of my viewers :(  However, enter the beauty of youtube! I was able to revive them so you can watch the replay. You're welcome! LOL
Now, go stamp something, will ya? Please join us in this challenge and don't forget the hashtag #keepstamping.
Have a wonderfully stampendous day and I will catch ya on the flip side.
HAPPY STAMPING!

Wildlife Rehab card with Stampin' Up Special Someone Stamp Set

Happy Monday!
I can hear the grumbles already! LOL Hopefully these critters will help cure the Monday blues. Today's card is one I've had the pieces sitting on my drafting table for a while. I knew what I wanted to do and how I wanted to do it, I just never could seem to get it done. We have a local Wildlife Rehabber, Nancy Johnson, that takes in and helps all kinds of animals. She's always got foxes, squirrels, raccoons, possums, etc. etc. And, she does senior dog rescue - all while working full-time 😲 CLICK HERE to check out her wonderful rescue and donate if you'd like.

I knew from the moment I saw the Special Someone stamp set in the catty that I was going to make her a card. The inspiration didn't come for the exact card until I saw Beth McCullough's fun fold card HERE. I love the layering "steps" on this card. So cool! I do wish, however, that I would've used Garden Green instead of Shaded Spruce behind the squirrel and the mountain range. It would've made the card more uniform, but it was already glued down so that's how it went. LOL!
I love the sentiment inside. It speaks volumes! I don't know how she does it, but she does - all for the love of the animals. I can't imagine the tenacity that it all takes. God Bless her!

And here's the photo she posted on my FB timeline

Isn't that adorable?!
During this difficult time, her little rescue could use all the help it can get. If you can donate, please help via the link above.

I will be LIVE on Facebook this afternoon at 3pm! You won't want to miss the cool fun fold we're doing today! Please join me.

Until then
HAPPY STAMPING!
