UPS card

Just a quick card from me today. I am in full-blown riding season. I've still been crafting in between but I'm trying to take advantage of riding season while it's here. It seems to be getting shorter and shorter these days.
For today's card, I had some card pieces from a previous class laying around. I chose to use them!
I just love this li'l UPS man from the You Always Deliver set. He makes me smile!
I love sending cards to the people who order from me. I colored it with the Blends and Viola! Easy Peasy card that's all done.

If you need the supplies to complete this card or just want to know more about Stampin' Up! Please don't hesitate to contact me. I'd be glad to talk about our current promos.

Sunflower Pocket Card

Hello there! I hope this post finds you all well. I just LOVE today's card. I know, I know, another pocket card, but I just couldn't resist. That fold is so easy! I attended my friend Cassie's bridal shower last weekend. Her engagement pictures were taken in a field of sunflowers so I just couldn't resist the urge to put sunflowers on her card. And, I just HAD to use some of that beautiful Peacock DSP!

Isn't it beautiful?! Each flower consisted of 4 punch outs from the daisy punches, one circle punch and the leaf punch. Super fun! The Blessed sentiment and the die cut piece are from the To a Wild Rose Bundle.

The envelope and the sentiment piece both had to sport that beautiful DSP as well.

I just stuck a glue dot on the back of the gift card to make it slide in and out. The inside sentiment is from the Wonderful Moments stamp set.

I hope you have time to make something fun this weekend!

Fun Fold for the August Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

Hello and welcome to the August edition of the Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle. This month we're focusing on Fun Folds. I learned this Easiest Pocket Card Ever fold from Connie Stewart. Her post is HERE.  It's quick and easy and fun 😉

We did this fold in my August class using retired DSP (Designer Series Paper) as a bonus card. Today I am featuring it using current DSP out of our Annual Catalog.

I just love those colorful feathers! The Bird Ballad paper is so pretty!

Please be sure to check out my fellow duckling friend's blogs and leave us some love. We love hearing from you!

Cloud Horse

Hello Stampers!
Today's card is very personal to me. It actually choked me up when I was designing it. You see, it encompasses my entire childhood. I ate, drank and dreamed about horses. I couldn't have one though because my parents just couldn't afford it. Every birthday & Christmas came with no pony, but I didn't give up. I saw ponies in everything (I think I still do ;) )
I am grateful every.single.day. that God made my dream come true.
Even through the hardest parts of having horses (ie: putting up hay in extreme heat, carrying frozen water buckets, losing my precious babies) it's all worth it. It's never easy, but it's simply who I am. Well, that and a papercrafter ;) LOL!
Check out that black shimmery embossing powder! The grass is from the Enjoy Life stamp set.

And here's the white shimmery embossing powder. Both are very sparkly.

I love how fancy the stitched label dies are!

I sponged balmy blue ink on the star stamp from the Bokeh Dots set to stamp the stars in on the background. I used a Black Foil Sheet and Sparkle Glimmer paper for the layers. Gotta keep that shine going dontchaknow? I colored some of our Rhinestones with a black sharpie and added them as well.

Keep believing in your dreams. I'm living proof they CAN happen. Who'd have thought that crazy kid that use to ride her bicycle to the library to check out every horse book and sit and draw pictures of the horses would actually be living the life she dreamed day-after-day? Dreams do come true!

I'd love to hear yours! Please leave me a note below :)
