Candy Card

Hello Stampers! Today's card is the result of a technique share I did with the Stray Ducklings.
I loved the vibrant colors so much that we made it in my last class. A big thanks to Debbie Kramer at http://debbiekramer.blogspot.com for sharing this awesome card with our wonderful group!

We used the Sweetest Thing Photopolymer Bundle for this card and the How Sweet It Is 12x12 designer series paper.

Top it off with a little reversible ribbon and viola! cute card!!!

The paper and the stamp bundle are both on the retiring list so get yours before it's gone forever!

All supplies are listed below and connected to my store for your shopping convenience.

Easter Cards for Class

Hello there Happy Stampers!
Today I want to share a card we made in class last week. I gave attendees the choice of which card they wanted to do so I decided to share both with you today.
I love that little rabbit. He's so cute! However the cross is very elegant and portrays the real reason for our upcoming holiday. Decisions, decisions! I'm glad I got to do BOTH! LOL!

The card design was CASEd from Peggy Murwin

Flowering Desert

Hello there stamping friends!!! It's been busy here in Illinois. I ran my favorite nephew up to Wisconsin for Horse Fair early this weekend. Hubby got home from China yesterday and today we're having a snowstorm! Say whaaaaaat?! Yep, a snowstorm in the middle of April. UGH! As of 1pm, we've probably gotten 4 inches so far. 😱
So, I'm going to dream of Arizona
I CASEd this card from Mary Fish. I left the colors the same but added a few more layers. The card on the right that says, "be your own kind of beautiful" reminds me of one of my riding friends who has the same tattoo, so I just had to send it off to her.
This card was a hit when I showed it to my recent class attendees.
I think we may be making it in a future class.

Cool huh? And not too difficult either.
If you would like to join us and attend our class, we'd love to have you!

Until next time,

Inside Wiper Card for the Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

Welcome to the Stray Duckling's Blog Waddle! You are going to LOVE the card I have for you today. It's an awesome creative fold that I first saw on Mitosu Crafts HERE. As soon as I saw their cute card, I knew I had to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) it. And, I knew I wanted to use the fish in the Best Catch Bundle. In my mind, the fish were jumping out of the water, lol!

I made two different versions of this card. The first one was a birthday card for our Stray Ducklings technique/creative fold share. The second one was a Father's Day card using the Well Said Bundle. I colored the cattails in the second one too. I think I like them better that way.

It doesn't show up well in the pics, but I added Wink of Stella to the fish to make them look shiny.

I like the color of the Father's Day sentiment better too.

But I think it's pretty cool the way the swoop in the "h" on "wish" matches the fishing line of the fisherman :)

Now onto the rest of our blog waddle.
Please visit the rest of the ducklings and leave us some love. It feels good to know that people are viewing our blog posts.  Next up is Debbie Kramer.
