Kim's Kreative Korner: Fall card

Sunday, October 10, 2021

I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the "Stampin' Stray Ducklings". Whenever we're together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring Thank You or Thanksgiving cards. I chose to use the Pretty Pumpkins bundle and the Scalloped Contour Dies

I love how that big Scallop Die makes the prettiest and simple background for so many of my cards!

And check out that gorgeous gold brushed metallic paper from the Gold & Rose Gold 6x6 metallic paper stack. So pretty! Pairing it with the copper foil sheet pumpkin really set it off too!

The inside of the card was given some love using the Detailed Trio Punch. It dresses it up so much, don't you think?!

And there you have it! Please make sure to check in with the rest of my duckling friends. Next up is Sheryl Diemer or you're welcome to waddle back to visit Sue Boerner

HAPPY WADDLING!!!

Happy Thursday and Welcome to the Paper Players 551 Sketch Challenge. I have a Sneak Peek of a new stamp set that will be available on Tuesday August 3rd. It's called Delivering Cheer. Check it out.

This stamp set is soooo cute! It has a few different options to set up. It's kinda like paper dolls only with stamps and then you get to color!

And here's the sketch we're playing along with

I started with a piece of So Saffron, added a Basic Black layer then added some wood DSP from the In Good Taste pack (which is 15% off right now!) I added strips from the upcoming Holiday Mini. The two patterned papers are from the Sweet Stockings DSP and the center strip is our new Cork Specialty paper (which is also available on August 3rd!) The cork paper is AH-MAZ-ING!!! Seriously. I had no idea until I saw it in person!
