This post was suppose to go out in early December but never made it, so here's one more Christmas card for you. Better late than never I suppose. ;) LOL
Today's card is a split-front one. I used the Christmas tree from the Twinkle Trees set again. The banner is from the hostess set Time of the Year- which is only available through Stampin' Rewards. It covers several different events and is a great go-to set. The card base is in Garden Green & layered with Cherry Cobbler and This Christmas designer series paper.

Under The Weather
I received this card front in a swap at OnStage in November. It came in handy this week when I needed a card to send to an ill friend. It's cute, simple and was perfect for a man.
It features the Weather Together stamp set. I just love the Rich Razzleberry and the Tempting Turquoise together. I would've never done that combination on my own!
The Softly Falling embossing folder was used in the backgrounnd.
I stamped the sentiment from Greatest Greetings in Tempting Turquoise inside.
I hope the weather is good in your neck of the woods today! :)

Horse Power
This
is the final horse card in my 3-day run ;) The horse and horseshoes are
from the retired Frontier stamp set. The barbed wire embossing folder
is just one I keep on hand, BUT the kicker in this card for me is the
sentiment. I LOVE this set. It is in the up-and-coming Occasions
catalog. It will be available in January. The set is called Beautiful
You; and it is just that.
The rope is our Stampin' Up! Kraft Rope Trim.
I hope you've enjoyed my 3 days of horse cards. I'll be back on track tomorrow :)
I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend.

Horse Birthday
This is the second of three horse cards I completed before heading to Vegas for the rodeo (aka: horse shopping venues!)
I made this card for my friend, Paulette's, birthday on Tuesday. She LOVES horses and rides with me sometimes - not to mention, she also comes to my card classes and joins us in the fun :)
The horse and horseshoes are from the retired Stampin' Up! set Frontier. The boot and barbed wire folder are from my stash and the sentiments are available now in my online store. They are in the Better Together set.

Horse Thanks
In light of the fact that I am in Las Vegas for the rodeo the next 3 days, I'll be sharing cards that include a retired horse stamp. Unfortunately Stampin' Up! doesn't have any current horse stamps (boo! hiss!) but I just love this one. When I can mix two of my favorite things in the world, stamping & horses, I'm doubly happy! :)
I made this card for my old reining trainer. He graciously took time out of his busy schedule before a big show and let my nephew, Sam & I,invade visit the barn to watch him work. He spent an hour and a half explaining what he was doing and why. It was pretty darn cool and made me miss my old reining days!
So, I needed a card with a gift card holder to send to him. Enter the retired SU! Frontier set. It's just a two-color simple, western card. Me likey! ;) LOL
I don't get to use that barbed wire embossing folder often either, but I love it!
The boot is from an old stash I have, BUT the sentiments are from our B.Y.O.P. stamp set.
