Happy Weekend (Almost!)
I hope you have some fun plans this weekend. We don't have a lot on our calendar, but I'm guessing we might hike if it's not raining. This is the perfect weather, imho, to hike - no bugs & no humidity and even though it's chilly, you warm up pretty fast trekking around those woods!
Aaaaanyhow, onto today's card. I received this card in the mail from my Upline, Linda Bauwin. I don't own this set (wait, whaaaat? GASP!) but I just love what she did with it. I think it's the color combination most of all. I really like the Pale Papaya and the Misty Moonlight together. Check it out.
It's even prettier in person! And, she added Wink of Stella to the flower so it shimmers! Very pretty indeed! I also struggle with using doilies when I have them. I love how Linda added the colored flowers to the half of a doily. Such a cool technique!
I love all things blue too, so I suppose that adds to my adoration of this card :) Speaking of which, Misty Moonlight is one of the In-Colors that's retiring soon. The retirement list came out two days ago. The In-Colors will be the first items to sell out so if you need any of the 2020-2022 In-Color items, be sure to get them now.
