Kim's Kreative Korner: Stamping Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle March 2022

I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the "Stampin' Stray Ducklings". Whenever we're together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! March's theme is pretty much "Anything Goes."

I chose to use a card I designed for this month's class that I learned from our own Duckling, Nancy Legate! It's a faux step card using the Tulip Fields bundle and the Flowering Tulips stamp set.

Supplies Used:

Bundles– Tulip Fields & Flowering Tulips

Ink– Pool Party & Evening Evergreen

Card Stock– Blackberry Bliss 5½x8 scored at 1, 2 and 5' on the long side and 3x6 scored at ½ & 1¾ on the long side, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry & Basic White

Designer Series Paper– Flowering Fields

Accessories– Brushed Brass Butterflies

Tools– Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Stampin’ Seal, Multipurpose Glue, Dimensionals – Small & Regular, Take Your Pick Tool and Mini Glue Dots.

Abbreviations- CS- Card Stock, DSP- Designer Series Paper

Directions:

1. Fold CS on score lines as shown

2. Adhere DSP as shown

2. Adhere bottom of 3x6 piece by lining it up flush over the small step as shown here

3. Flip over and adhere top flap to the back as shown here

4. Stamp sentiment in Evergreen towards the upper center on the tall white piece. Stamp clouds above it on the right corner then adhere to front.

5. Stamp tree in Evergreen on bottom left corner & clouds in Pool Party on the upper right corner of the wide white piece then adhere to back.

6. Glue bike on.

7. Assemble windmill and glue onto card making sure that blades do not exceed the edge of the card or else you will need a bigger envelope.

8. Add butterflies.
