Trail Rider Lighted Block

RIDE ON IN!

I have to admit, I'm loving the design on this block. I love how the "welcome" is embedded in the ground under the horse.

It's 55° here today and I'm dreaming of camping & trail riding.

Wouldn't this block look awesome inside someone's horse camper?
All of my block lights are battery operated so you don't have to worry about finding a spot for them that's close to an outlet AND we campers can still use them in primitive camping spots!

I think YOU need this for YOUR trailer ;)

Happy Trails!

Animal Love Block

Another Christmas present block share today.
I made this block for the greatest petsitter and 2nd mom a girl could have. Barb takes great care of all of our horses, dogs and cats. I wanted to make her something that showed her love for all 3 types of our "kids."

I sure hope she knows what a Godsend she is to our family.
We all love her very much! <3

Western Pleasure Block

The block I'm sharing today was another Christmas present for a very close friend who always surprises me with handmade items. I finally got to return the favor.
My friend is a horse trainer who focuses on the Pleasure classes.
I hope she's enjoying her gift.
Please contact me if you'd like one for yourself or a friend of yours :)

Fishin' Block

I have some fantastic friends. After hearing of my new venture, a friend placed her trust in me and asked me to make a personalized gift for her husband's retirement. I was so happy with the way this one turned out. I can't wait to do more of them!

Thank you Linda for your faith in me and your support!

Barrel Racer Block

Sooo, what's better than crafting when you love it? Crafting items with pictures of other things you love of course! Hobby-wise, my first love has always been horses. I eat, sleep, live & breathe horses. When I first thought about making these blocks, my goal was to make ones that would sell if I set up a table when I go camping & trail riding. Of course I'm happy to branch out from there ;)

This is the second block I've ever done. I was elated when it was finished! I posted it on Facebook and it sold for a Christmas present right away. Imagine my giddiness! Thank you Edith!

"If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." I'm not sure I could make a living at this, but I won't know until I try, right?!

Happy Crafting!

My New Passion

What started out as a Christmas gift has turned into a new passion for me and this is the block that started it all. I have one of those beautiful, wonderfully-talented Sister-In-Laws that has it all and can make anything herself. What do you get someone like that for Christmas??? You don't. You make her something special from the heart. I've been wanting to try glass etching for a long time now. While I can't say that I'm great at it, I can say that I'm loving it. I'm having FUN! And isn't that what crafting is all about?

I love it when work is a labor of love. It doesn't feel like work that way. In the next couple of months I'll be sharing both lighted blocks and cards on my blog. Who knows what I might come up with next. Whatever it is, I hope to make it FUN!

Happy Crafting,
Kim
