Beachside Support

Good Morning Happy Stampers!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with activities that you love. I sure did and I'm so thankful for this blessed life I live!

Today's card has been around the web a few times since the June 1st release of the new Stampin' Up! catalog. It's obvious that everyone loves it from the exposure it's gotten. It's all over Pinterest.

We made this card in class last Tuesday and the ladies seemed to love it.

I'm off to meet a couple of wonderful ladies that I don't get to see very often. One of them just bought a house so that she can keep her elderly horse at home. It's her first place in the country and I'm so happy for her!!!

I hope you all have a Marvelous Monday!

Wood Crate Class Project

Happy Friday Crafty Friends! :)

I held a class at my house on Tuesday. I usually only make full cards, but I was dying to try this crate from the Wood Words bundle. I saw a project that Stampin' Up demos did at OnStage and wanted to try something similar. I was worried that my class participants would be disappointed in not having a regular A2 sized card. I needn't have worried. They all LOVED the crate!

I used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack to make the crate and accent the cards.

The Envelope Punch Board was used to make the perfect sized envelopes for the 3x3 cards.

Isn't it cute?! It's so much more fun in person :)
I hope you all have a crafty weekend planned!

Lovely Friends Basket Weave Card

Happy Wednesday!
I had an awesome stamp class yesterday with some very lovely ladies that I am proud to call friends now. The friendships I've made because of ink and paper never cease to amaze me. These women are all so thoughtful and caring. I love the time we share together!
I will have more posts about the projects we made in the days to follow.

Today I'd like to share a creative fold card I made after Splitcoaststampers featured an awesome tutorial.  It's called the basket weave card and you can find the tutorial HERE. I knew I had to try it and I knew I had to do it with one of my stamp sets from the new catalog. I chose to use Lovely Friends and I must admit, I LOVE the way this one turned out (pun intended)!

I also used the new Fresh Fig cardstock for the base. The sentiment is inked in Fresh Fig as well and the flowers are stamped in Fresh Fig, Wisteria Wonder and Wild Wasabi. I'm ecstatic with the way this color combination turned out! The final touch was the bow made with Very Vanilla Lace Trim

The fold reminds me of lattice in this pic. Lattice and flowers go together well, so I think this combination was a hit (of course I'm biased, but.... 😉)

Well, that's it for this crafty Wednesday. I hope you find time to be creative today!

Happy Stamping!

Piggy Bobble Card

***You have to see this! Click on the link to open!!!***

I am so excited about today's card share! I'm really biased on this one. I love the way it turned out! I am using Stampin' Up!s new This Little Piggy stamp set. Isn't the Piggy cute?! This is the card folded flat - coming out of the envelope.

Open it up and it turns into a pig pen. Viola! Flying bobble piggy!!!!

Here's a video of the bobble.

Graduation Card #2

I wanted to share one more graduation card that I made. This one was for a very dear high school friend's son who just happened to graduate from our Alma Mater.

Thankfully, I had some leftover Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, but my biggest score here was finding the Rockridge Rockets designer paper that I bought many, many moons ago (like 15 😮!) I knew I kept it around for a reason! 😉

I cut the numbers out of gold glitter paper using the Large Number Framelits. I made the tassel out of old Blackberry Bliss thick baker's twine and white embossing floss. I adhered the tassel using one of our White Perfect Accents popped up with a Stampin' Dimensional

I finished the card with the sentiment from the B.Y.O.P. stamp set.

To all graduates near & far...CONGRATULATIONS on your achievement! May life be everything you hoped for and more!

Tomorrow's a BIG day for those of us who work for Stampin' Up! Our new catalog is being released to the public which means you all have the opportunity to see and buy new products!!! WOOHOO!

If you're already my customer and need a catty, please see me. If you're not, but would like to order, I would love to meet you and get a new catty to you.

Happy Stamping!

Graduation Card

I hope everyone had a fun-filled, safe Memorial Weekend!

A friend of mine asked me to make a graduation card for her. The recipient of the card's school colors are the same as the Chicago Bears (Go Bears!!!) Thankfully I still had some leftover Pumpkin Pie Glimmer paper! I cut the numbers out of the glimmer paper with our Large Number Framelits.

I made the tassel out of embossing floss and used a Night of Navy Regals Enamel Dot to hang it. Then added rhinestones for more bling.
I added the sentiment from the B.Y.O.P. stamp set.

Stay tuned tomorrow. I have one more graduation card for you.
Until then, Happy Stamping!

Succulent Garden

Yay! We made it to Friday! 😁
And it's the Friday before a holiday weekend! WOOHOO! I hope you all have grand plans!

Today I'll be sharing the last card from my most recent class. It's a Succulent Garden creative fold. Unfortunately at this writing, the Succulent Garden DSP has sold out, but you can use any Designer Series paper of your choice for the same effect. That's probably one of the best things I love about Stampin' Up! Everything matches! Just pick the Designer Series Paper of your choice, grab some coordinating cardstock, cut and viola! instant card! Believe it or not, this card came together quick and easy because of that. It looks time-consuming because all of the layers, but it wasn't.

The succulent was made using the Blossom Bunch Punch which is 50% off right now while supplies last! Hurry and get yours before they run out!
The sentiments are both from the Suite Sayings stamp set.

My nephew & I are headed for a fun-filled weekend of camping and horseback riding. I hope you all enjoy your weekend as well and don't forget to take some time to remember your loved ones who have passed.

God Bless,
~Kim~

Candle Card

Today's card is so much fun! My class participants loved it! We used the Candle Border Punch on the front of the card and the envelope flap. It was a real hit once we added the Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper behind it. And guess what...??? The punch is 40% off right now while supplies last! Get yours today before they run out!

I used the Layering Oval Framelits Dies to add the sentiment from the Suite Sayings stamp set

The sentiment inside the card is from the Everyday Tags Stamp Set which is 25% off right now while supplies last!

I hope you enjoyed today's care share. Please come back tomorrow or subscribe to my blog by placing your email address in the slot on the right. Then you'll be sure not to miss a post!

One more day till the holiday weekend! 😁
