Spooky Fun

TGIF! It's suppose to be a gorgeous day here in North Central Illinois. My goal is to saddle up a pony and enjoy it before it's gone, but first, I have to share another Halloween card with you.

I'm still having a blast with the Spooky Fun & Halloween Scares stamp sets plus the Halloween Scene Edgelits which you can bundle here for 10% savings!

I did some sponging with Night of Navy for the background on these two cards. I masked the moon and added Halloween Night Baker's Twine on the one on the right. The card on the left is embellished with Halloween Night Enamel Dots. I'm not sure which version I like the best. It just seems to depend on my mood that day, LOL!

Either way, these stamp sets & edgelits have certainly made my adult Halloween more fun -without all the calories! ;)
And look at that cute li'l spider! He may just be in the running with the bats for me, LOL! Love him!

Halloween Trifold Card

The moment I saw Dawn Griffiths make this card on Dawnsstampingthoughts.net, I knew I had to CASE it. She's so creative!!! This card was as much fun to make as it is to look at.

I used the Lots of Labels Framelits to die cut the top flap. Halloween Scares and Spooky Fun are the stamp sets used to decorate it. The title "Spooky Fun" really sums the stamps up. That stamp set is awesome and when you combine it with the Halloween Scene Edgelit Dies, wowza!!! You can also get the edgelits and Spooky Fun as a bundle for 10% off here. Fun with ink & paper :)

One of the nicest things about this particular card is that you only need 3 ink pads - Memento black, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango. Heck, you could probably use Daffodil Delight cardstock and sponge the Tangerine Tango on it, instead of sponging both colors on Whisper White. You'd get a similar affect and use less ink ;)
I finished off the card with a bow made from the Halloween Night Baker's Twine.

I love how the card stands on it's own. You can set it out with your Halloween decorations!
SO FUN!

I hope you've enjoyed today's card as much as I enjoyed making it and sharing it with you all!
