November Stampin Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the "Stampin' Stray Ducklings". Whenever we're together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring the holidays.
Nothin' says holidays like a beautiful snowy cabin in the woods. The Peaceful Cabin suite was perfect for this month's theme. The designer series paper does all the work for you with this card. It's so pretty! I have a FULL VIDEO Tutorial for you below :)

The cabin die cut made it perfect to use on a bridge card. Add 3 die-cut trees and place them around the cabin and you've got a pretty scene. Cool huh?

The silver shimmer on the designer paper makes this card even prettier.

I added a back piece so you can write a note to the recipient.

And here is how it folds flat so you can send to your recipient

And as promised, here's my video tutorial

And there you have it! Please make sure to check in with the rest of my duckling friends. Next up is Sheryl Diemer or you're welcome to waddle back to visit Sue Boerner

HAPPY WADDLING!!!

September We Bee Stamping TEAM Blog Hop - Favorite Mini Bundle

 Hello there!
The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. This month we're celebrating our favorite bundle in the new mini catalog.

My fave is, hands down, the Whimsy & Wonder Suite.

The DSP is awesome! It has a shimmery, iridescent shine throughout the designs on one side of each 12x12 sheet.

Here's a close-up shot. Can you see it on the holly leaves, ribbon on the presents and on the big tree? I have posted my TikTok video at the bottom so you can see the entire suite on video (and to see more tips and tricks follow me on TikTok  - @kimskreativekorner)

Of course I had to do a fun-fold too. It's a nice, easy bridge fold.
Just look at those fun, different shaped trees. Love them!

A panel on the back leaves lots of room for writing the recipient a note.

I love everything about this suite, but I think the non-traditional colors & the DSP are the biggest draw for me - which is surprising since I'm such a traditional person. I spent the entire weekend just playing with this suite in my craft room. It's been so unbearably hot here in Illinois that I was welcoming a little Christmas in August feel. I made a lot of cards so stay tuned because I will be sharing them in the near future :)

Now, on with the Blog Hop! Please check out the beautiful cards the rest of my friends have made by clicking on the links below.
