You Move Me Class Card

Happy Wednesday Friends!
Today I'd like to share a card we made in class last weekend. It's a fun interactive card from the You Move Me Bundle.

Check out the video at the end of this post for the surprise.

I've been looking for a reason to use the fancy Foil Frenzy Specialty Designers Series Paper and I found it.
The fluttering butterfly deserved to be encased in such a gorgeous paper.
Wouldn't you agree? :)

Also, take note of that Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon....
What? You say,  we don't have Pumpkin Pie colored Metallic Edged Ribbon???
We do when you color it with the Stampin' Blends!
Yep! It's a wonderful bonus when using alcohol markers.
You can make it any color you have of the alcohol markers.
How cool is that?!
And here you can see the flutter.
Pretty Nifty, eh?

I hope you enjoyed our fun card for today.
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

More Than Chocolate Valentines

Happy Friday Friends!!!
We made it!

Today I'd like to share a card we made in class last weekend using the
More Than Chocolate stamp set

I love this set because well, I LOVE chocolate!
Truth be told, I love anything sweet.
Yep, I'm a sugar-a-holic!
Sad, but true.

I volunteered to participate in a Secret Valentine sending through my Upline. I wanted to embellish on the above idea so I added a box of chocolates. Since I didn't know the person my card was going to, I changed up the sayings.

I thought it would be cool to show that beautiful Berry Burst ribbon on both the front and the back so I cut a section out of the front, wrapped it around the back and tied it in a knot.

I hope you've enjoyed this card today. I think it's adorable (but I might be a li'l biased! 😉)

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Happy Stamping!

Waterfront Scene

We made it to Wednesday!
We're halfway there!

As you can tell from my blog decor, I'm an outdoorsy kinda girl. I love to be outside - when the weather cooperates, of course. And I especially love seeing all of God's creations via horseback.
This stamp set puts me in my happy place in a two-fold manner.
I get to be in my craft room creating while dreaming about spending time on one of my horses enjoying nature. 🐎🐴

 Win-Win, Right??? 😍

I was going for the look of a flowing river/large stream. I hope I accomplished it.
What do you think? I'd love to hear from you!

I just love the simple elegance of this card. It was achieved with minimal items.

Ahhhhhh, now I want to go there! 😉

I hope you all have a wonderfully marvelous day!
Happy Stampin'!

Happy Tuesday y'all!
Today I have an adorable card to share with all of you.
This card was made by one of my friends & downline, Jennifer Hedrick.

Jen loves strawberries and it's evident through her card
🍓🍓🍓
She used the new Fruit Basket bundle. The bundle includes four small punches and is so cute!
Jen used our Delicate White Doilies and Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon to accessorize her charming creation.

Miss Linda's Card Swap

Happy Monday!
I can just hear the grumbles out there :)

It's a soggy one today in Illinois. I love the warmth, but oh the mud.
And oh the mud that the dogs track in - Kalli especially.
She doesn't care that it's wet outside.
Everything is about the ball and who she can con into playing with her. At 13 1/2, it's still All About the Ball.
Did I mention how mud splatters when playing ball???!!!

Aaaaanyhow, the mud & muck make for perfect crafting days!
Today, I'd like to share a card that my dear friend, Linda Pohl,
made for our card swap.

Isn't it pretty?
Linda used the new Heartfelt Greetings stamp set that you can only get FREE
with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.

Stray Ducklings Swap - Party Pandas Fun Fold

Welcome to another Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle.
This month we are blogging from the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs.

I opted to use the Sale-A-Bration freebie, Party Pandas for my card today.
I am part of a Stampin' Up! demo group on Facebook. Jo Anne Hewins came up with this cool idea to use strips of our Color Theory paper as bamboo. You can find her card HERE.  I CASEd her bamboo idea and ran with my own fun fold card.

I just love the sentiments in the Petal Palette suite and this one was perfect for my card.

The card folds flat for mailing.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today. Please waddle along the list to our next blog participant,

Pig Pen Card

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Woot! Woot!
I have a fancy fun-fold card for you today. I entered a challenge from my Upline, Linda Bauwin. She always gets my creative juices going because she offers free product as a prize.
Who doesn't like to win free stuff???!!!

I knew from the moment I saw this barn door bundle that I was going to HAVE to have it 😉
It's right up my alley. But, what's a barn without farm animals? Thankfully we have the cute This Little Piggy set to fill it up!

I just love that roof made with the Home Sweet Home die cuts & the Sale-A-Bration freebie, Bubbles & Fizz DSP.

I knew I had to add straw to the barn/pig pen and what good is straw without a cute little piggy to roll around in it?

Yea, I had WAY too much fun with this!

The piggies were heat embossed then watercolored with ink and an aqua painter.
(all products are linked at the bottom of this post for your ordering convenience)

I used an accordian-type fold to get the pen to kind of pop up when opened.

And here it is folded flat for mailing. It was a squeeze to get it into our standard A2 envelope,
But it went.
🐷

I hope you all have a wonderfully fabulous weekend filled with your favorite activities!

I'll be back late Saturday night/Early Sunday morning for a Blog Waddle (hop) with my Stray Ducklings friends.

Until then,
Happy Stamping!

Hedgehogs

Happy Monday!

It's a snowy one here in North Central Illinois. I think we've gotten almost 4 inches since last night and it's suppose to continue till noon while temperatures start to plummet.
Yay us! NOT! But it is pretty.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to have a crafting day - Shucky darn! 😉😜

I'm a bit late with this card. It started out on my drafting table while the acorn DSP was still current. Unfortunately, it got left behind because of having to focus on Christmas cards.
All the other product is current. I just love it, so I had to post it anyway.

This card is CASEd from the internet. I only changed a couple of things.
Unfortunately, when I tried to find the original artist, Pinterest gave me the run-around. If it's yours, please send me the link to your original post and I'll be glad to update this blog entry.

That's it for today. Thank you for popping in!
I would love to hear from you. If you're reading this, please holler.

Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Another Personalized Travel Mug

Happy Sunday everyone!

I can finally share this :)  Some of you know that I have the World's Greatest Barefoot Trimmer that trims my horse's feet. My animals LOVE her. Seriously. ALL of the animals, not just the horses.
She has a gift.
And I don't tell her often enough how much I appreciate her.
Yep, I'm a slacker. 😕

But, this Christmas, I decided to get my butt in gear and make her something personalized.
(Duh, why didn't take the time to do that sooner?!)

Anyhow, I don't know anyone else as passionate as Ida Hammer about making sure a horse is comfortable in their own feet.

We are very blessed to have her as a trimmer and a friend.
Thank you Ida!

In The Trees

Happy Monday!

I've been a bit lax in posting this new year! 😔
I will try to get better. I promise. It seems there's always something in the way.

Anyhow, today I wanted to share a card I made with the new set, In The Trees.
I love how the cute items to hang between the trees.
How fun is that?!

I used my Stampin' Write markers to color it, but a friend of mine used her Stampin' Blends. Both were pretty, but I must admit, I think I liked the smoothness of the Blends best.

This card was quick, simple and actually relaxing because of the coloring.

C'mon, don't you wanna channel your inner child and color with me?!

Until next time,
HAPPY STAMPING!
