Summer Banner - Fun Flip Flops

Hey Kreative Friends!

Today I have something a bit different for you.

Our fireplace mantle was in need of a Summer upgrade. I had been meaning to make a flip-flop banner for a while. Nothing like Summer Solstice coming in and still having a Spring Banner up to motivate a person! I knew I wanted to use our new, fun Pattern Party paper to make a couple of the pairs, so I hopped to it!

I bought the pattern in the Silhouette store and cut them out on my Cameo. I'm not sure I'd want to do make these particular flip flops again though. For whatever reason, my blade struggled with the stars and the flowers. It could be, quite simply, that I need a new blade, but I really don't use my Cameo that often so I'm not sure what the problem was. If I were to do it again, I'd probably use some die cuts & my Cut & Emboss machine.

But those flowers are so cute! And check out that Designer Series Paper from our Pattern Party DSP stack. Doesn't it make adorable flip flops???!!!

I don't know why those stars gave me grief, but I'm glad they're done. LOL! :)

Give It A Whirl Animal Card

It's Send a Smile Saturday!!!

I have a fun card for you today using our new Give It a Whirl dies. These are stand-alone dies that do not come in a bundle because they can be used with so many different stamp sets. Today, I used 2 different stamp sets with my card. If you know me, you know that I'm a total animal person. I am owned by 2 dogs, 2 horses and 4 barn cats, currently ;) And, since I don't have human children, these guys are my furry kiddos :)

...And the fun thing is, I am not alone. I have several friends who are living their best animal life so they would certainly appreciate this card too!

Just look at that fun, bright Designer Series Paper (DSP)! It's from the Host Exclusive Pattern Party pack that you can earn FREE with your qualifying order. There are 48 12x12 sheets in this pack. It's HUGE!

The dog and cat stamps are both from the Pampered Pets bundle

The cowboy is from the soon-to-retire Ride the Range bundle. I stamped all the images in Memento Black and colored them with my Stampin' Blends. Easy Peasy.

The real star of the show is the Give it a Whirl die set though. Stampin' Up really thought of everything when they made this set. Check out those cute little arrows you can notch into your cardstock telling your recipient to dial the circle. Cool huh? The possibilities are endless. You'll be seeing more pics with this on my blog for sure!
