Broomsticks

As some of you know, I sub in our local school district. Recently, I've been with allowed to try to keep up with hang out with the preschoolers.  When I saw these broomstick suckers make their debut on splitcoaststampers.com. I was inspired to try to make them for the kids.

Well.....these little suckers (pun intended) are harder than they look! I had glue everywhere. I couldn't get the brown paper to roll well onto the sucker handle and the twine....oh the twine. I needed 40 suckers to make it fair to everyone. I got to number 16 and raised the white flag!
If you care to try them, there's a tutorial on the splitcoaststampers website. Go ahead. I dare ya! ;) LOL!

On a fun note though...I got to punch out many bats with my butterfly punch and y'all know how happy that makes me!

Have I told ya lately how much I love those silly little bats??? I'm sure gonna miss them when Halloween is over next week!

Signing off before my fingers are permanently stuck together from all this glue!

Happy sticking, errr, I mean crafting!
Good Luck!
