Diarama Card

Welcome to another week! Today is the last card from our technique swap. It was designed by Sue Boerner ( http://www.stampinup.net/esuite/home/stampinsueb/blog ) . It's a diarama card made from the Balloon Adventures bundle. This technique makes a shadow box type of image. So cool! Sue used the Festive Birthday DSP. This DSP is retiring soon so get it while you can!

And I love this diarama card so much, I had to embellish the inside by coloring the balloons and the banner, but I forgot to take a picture of it.

Creative Fold Smash Card

I hope you all had a marvelous Easter spent with loved ones. Hubby and I had a great weekend spent with a family who has adopted us. The weather here was divine on Saturday. My horses got some much needed grooming and a little horseplay. I'm anxious to start riding and camping!

For your Monday viewing pleasure, I have chosen this smash card designed by Mary Booker

( http://stamphappycreates.typepad.com/ ), but made by yours truly at a recent shoebox swap. I love it! It's so festive and fun :) I'm sure whoever receives it will love the surprise when they open it.

The stamps Mary chose are from the Balloon Adventures set. The balloons were punched out of Dazzling Diamond and Red Glimmer Paper using the Balloon punch.

Isn't it great?!

Are you interested in making fun cards like this one? I'd love to have you join me in class to learn how to do this on your own. If you're not in the North Central Illinois area, but still need a demonstrator to guide you with card making or scrapbooking using Stampin' Up! products, I'd love to help you out! Please don't hesitate to contact me.

Until tomorrow, Happy Stamping!

Birthday Swaps

Here are more swaps from our Stray Duckling's meeting. Today I'm sharing the birthday cards.  Lori Helvick made this cute card card with the Cool Treats Bundle. You can visit her blog here.

The next card was made by Christine Thomas. Christine used the set Balloon Adventures.

Our next card was made by Laura Roethle using Cake Crazy. I love all the layers with it. Didn't she do a great job?

If you'd like any of these stamp sets, I'd be happy to order them for you. Please contact me :)

Balloon Adventures

Good morning crafters! :)

Today's card is one we made at Stampin' Up! OnStage event. It showcases the new Balloon Adventures Bundle. This bundle enables you to make a cool pop-up for the center of your cards. I always say, "It's all about the tools." Stampin' Up! gives us the right tools to make us look like creative geniuses ;)  So. Much. Fun.

The card base is Daffodil Delight. The Designer Series Paper is Party Animal. The balloon embellishment hanging off the Emerald Envy Taffeta ribbon is from the Party Animal Embellishment pack

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and remember, it's Sale-A-Bration time! For every $50 you spend, you get to pick a free item out of the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

Happy Stamping!!!
