Elegant Christmas Cards

 Hello Everyone!

I love these new foil embossed cards from the mini catalog and I couldn't wait to use them! Using them with our new Green & Red Foil sheets just enhanced the beauty of the cards as well. I wanted a subtle, elegant affect so I chose the Evergreen Forest 3D Folder to go along with all of that shine.

These cards came together pretty quickly this morning and I'm elated at the outcome.  I don't think the pictures do them justice. Just look at the shimmer on those gold foil card envelopes. It's gorgeous!

Here's our sketch

I love how Stampin' Up! makes it so easy for us to make easy cards with a WOW factor!

The most difficult part was covering up the "to you and yours" with washi tape, stamping "Christmas Blessings" in versmark, removing the tape then heat embossing in gold emboss powder.

After that was done, I used my Stampin' Write markers and the Stamparatus to color "to you and yours" with red & green inks and add them to the embossed piece.

What do you think? Do you like them?

4 Sale-A-Bration Items in 1 card!

It's the last day of Sale-A-Bration 2020😭
Have you gotten everything you wanted?
Today's the day to make that happen plus get the FREEbies you love...Like this GORGEOUS Flowering Foils paper that you can get FREE with $50 spent!
I made these cards in my "Stamp With Me At 3" Facebook Live yesterday. Aren't they pretty? The inspiration came from Linda Bauwin and THIS POSTI loved everything about her card and knew I wanted to do something similar. Isn't it funny how an idea strikes us and it ends up so different?
This was my prototype - done before the video with the sponge brayers. I mentioned on the video that it was a "Happy Accident". I started with Flirty Flamingo and was going for an ombre effect with Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo. As I was doing it, I decided I wanted to add some Pineapple Punch to it. Then it started turning orange. I was giddy (it doesn't take much! LOL)
Isn't it purdy?
Of course the inside can't be nekkid! ;)

Then I decided to try it with Pineapple Punch and Highland Heather. I put a layer of HH down first and it made the PP kind of Smoky looking. After laying down both colors, I wanted a layer in between so I grabbed the Melon Mambo and rolled some in the middle. I like it much better now :)

The butterflies were punched out of the So Very Vellum (can be yours FREE with $50 spent) & a Champagne foil sheet with the Butterfly Duet Punch (can be yours FREE with $100 spent). I switched colors of the vellum between the 3 cards and added Peacock Rhinestones to the centers. The Tags in Bloom (can be yours FREE with $100 spent) piece was stamped in Smoky Slate & fussy cut first then the sentiment was stamped on a piece of scrap whisper white and punched out with the Lovely Label punch so I could add dimensional to the sentiment. The flowers were colored with Stampin' Blends.

And last, but not least, is the one I made during the Live session. I used Pineapple Punch and Balmy Blue on it. I LOVE how the center turned green. Isn't it pretty?!
