A Whole Herd of Cows

Good Morning!
I mentioned a few days ago that I was working on cards for local Assisted Living programs. I got a few more done using the adorable retiring Over the Moon stamp set this time.

Our goal is to put a smile on their faces- even if it's only for just a moment. I think these cows will do the trick, don't you?
I used the retiring In-Color DSP and ribbon to compliment those beautiful bovines.  So. Stinkin'. Cute! If I do say so myself.
I just love the color coordination of Stampin' Up! products. Product coordination was the biggest thing that drew me to this company and it's never disappointed.

Of course the cowbell had to have a bit of bling on it too. I used my Wink of Stella brush.

This card was done during a Zoom Mystery Stamping event. Isn't it fun?!
I really hope they all make someone just a little happier in these crazy times.

Fab Friday 189 Assisted Living Cards

Hello there!
I hope this day finds you well 😀 It's cool and brisk here in Illinois but the sun is out 🌞 I have a very simple card for you today, but a very important one.

One of my card-making friends reached out to the local nursing homes during this pandemic. They told her that the Assisted Living Residents were struggling pretty hard with the quarantine, so she contacted me about getting a lot of cards made quickly. Guess what??? I know peeps. And I especially know peeps that love to stamp. Enter the Stampin' Stray Ducklings. We've been crankin' out the cards!
This morning, I saw the Fab Friday 189 sketch and knew it was PERFECT for my next set of cards. I really wanted to use the retiring Heartland set because we live in a big farm community and I'm sure some of the residents that will be receiving these are farmers.

I whipped out 5 of these this morning thanks to my wonderful Stamparatus. I wanted to change them up a bit and even step-up a couple of them so I added another layer.

I also varied the banner sizes to see which one I liked best.
Which one is your favorite?

Horse Quarter Fold Pop Out Card

Hello Happy Stampers! Today I've got a real treat for you. It's a Quarter-Fold Pop-Out card. I first saw this fold from Libby Fens on the Demonstrator Planning Place on Facebook. I made a mental note of it, then put it on the back burner in my noggin'.
Well, a few days back, Julie Davison, a popular demo here in Illinois, brought that fold right back to the forefront of my head. And since my favorite stamp set in the catty, Let It Ride, is set to retire at the end of the month, I HAD to use it!

How fun is this scene, right? My buckskin horse was done with Smoky Slate ink and the So Saffron and Smoky Slate blends. He's pretty cool, don't ya think?
I'm so sad that this set is retiring :( However, I'm super excited to get to play with new products in the very near future!

This card fold takes very little cardstock yet makes a big impression. I hope you get a chance to try one for yourself!

HAPPY STAMPING!
