Lace Class Card

Good Morning! 🌞

I hope this weekend finds you well. It's VERY hot here in Illinois. We've been having heat indices up to 110°!!! 😓 I feel so bad for the people and animals that have to be out in it. 😥

I, however, choose to be in a climate-controlled environment crafting!

We had a great class this week that started with this card.

It's a very, very simple card but I love the simple elegance of it. That beautiful Petal Pink ribbon against the Mossy Meadow Cardstock really draws my attention. Lo & behold there's a beautiful Petal Pink DSP (Designer Series Paper) in the Perennial Essence pack. The class attendees really liked that paper!

The Woven Heirlooms stamp set is so elegant too! I just love it!
This is simple stamping at it's finest.
Now, go stamp something!
See ya soon!

Simple Stamping

Happy Tuesday!

Every month Stampin' Up! challenges us with a #simplestamping theme. This month we were asked to showcase the retiring In-Colors using just stamps, ink & paper. Those of you who know me, know how difficult this is for me, but I must say, I am pleased with the result. Please take a look and tell me what you think.

Stamps.Ink.Paper.

That's It.

Check it out. Minimal. Pretty cool eh? I have become a HUGE fan of the blender pen since the retreat a few weekends ago. I colored the woman using just the blender pen and the 3 ink pads you see here. Who knew? Evidently many people besides me knew but it turns out you can teach an old dog new tricks!

By the way, I am going to be so sad when Lemon Lime Twist retires. I LOVE that color. I think I will stock up now since it's only available while supplies last. If you have a favorite out of this group you should to. When they're gone, they're gone :(

And that my friends, is it for today. I appreciate you popping in. I would love to see what you come up with using the retiring In-Colors.

New Year's Card

HAPPY 2019!!!!

I hope you all had a wonderful celebration. We sure did! We had a houseful of wonderful friends and family. They were here till noon today so it was many hours of fun!

We demonstrators have been challenged by Stampin' Up! to put some Simple Stamping cards out there. This is a VERY difficult task for me. I like bling, glamour and lots of "foof"! So, this is as "Simple Stamping" as it gets for me! Some minor heat embossing, a little stamping, slap a ribbon (blingy of course, though 😉) and viola! a New Years Card for our guests!

I made 6 of these in probably an hour. It was great, but very, very difficult to not play with them more.
Now it's time for some R&R for me. I didn't get much sleep, LOL!

I pray that 2019 finds you all happy & healthy!

And just a reminder, SALE-A-BRATION & the new OCCASIONS catalog starts in 2 days!!!! Woot! Woot! There are some GREAT deals again this year. Full details coming soon!

Please contact me if you don't have a demo and you would like catalogs.
