October Stampin Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the "Stampin' Stray Ducklings". Whenever we're together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring Thank You or Thanksgiving cards. I chose to use the Pretty Pumpkins bundle and the Scalloped Contour Dies

I love how that big Scallop Die makes the prettiest and simple background for so many of my cards!

And check out that gorgeous gold brushed metallic paper from the Gold & Rose Gold 6x6 metallic paper stack. So pretty! Pairing it with the copper foil sheet pumpkin really set it off too!
The inside of the card was given some love using the Detailed Trio Punch. It dresses it up so much, don't you think?!

And there you have it! Please make sure to check in with the rest of my duckling friends. Next up is Sheryl Diemer  or you're welcome to waddle back to visit Sue Boerner

HAPPY WADDLING!!!

Kylie's October Blog Hop Triangle Fun Fold with FREE Template!

Hello :)
Today I am participating in Kylie's October edition of her Monthly Blog Highlights Contest. Our theme is always Thank You because you just can't say it enough :)
The Top 10 vote winners get to participate in an International  Blog Hop.
I would really appreciate it if you would take a minute to vote for my card by clicking on the link below.  😀
Today I re-vamped a card that I made a couple months ago. I didn't like the way the center triangle flopped so I created a cut to make it stand up on it's own :) The template is below.
You can see the cut inside here. I love the way we can use our Stitched Triangle dies with this card. They make it super easy to decorate! There's still plenty of room on the white triangle to write a note to your recipient.

Just fold your card base in half. Measure 2" from the top and the bottom and cut a 1¼" slit.

To vote just click on the button below or click HERE. My card is #4. Please click on the heart in the upper right hand corner and it will turn red so you know that you're vote counted. You can vote for 5, but it isn't mandatory. You are allowed to vote for just one if you'd like. I really appreciate your support with this!
#4

As always, if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to contact me (paintfancy@yahoo.com)

HAPPY STAMPING!

October We Bee Stamping TEAM Blog Hop Fall Is In The Air

Hello there! The We Bee Stamping Team is excited to bring you more inspiration through our monthly Blog Hop. Our theme this month is Fall is in the Air :) I love this DSP from the Beauty of the Earth 12x12 DSP pack. It's very Fall-ish to me so I built my card around it.

I adhered my DSP to the card front then punched an opening using my Everyday Label punch. I had the little piggy from Joyful Life already colored, cut out and just sitting on my drafting table beckoning to be used. He's so cute! I love the greeting on the front of this card too. It was the biggest draw for me to buy the Festive & Bright stamp set. :)
The sentiment inside is from the Well-Defined stamp set. Doesn't the piggy look like he's getting the warm fuzzies from thinking about someone dear to him? Maybe the cocoa or coffee has something to do with that too 😉

I colored the piggy with Stampin Blends then I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to his glasses. You can see it a bit in the pic below. I love using it for eyes and glasses.

And there you have it! That's it for me today. Please check out the beautiful cards the rest of my friends have made by clicking on the links below.
