Pansy Dutch Door Fold

Hello Stampers!

Today is a simple fun fold for you using the gorgeous Pansy Petals suite. Check out that pretty new In-Color too! It's called Polished Pink. I love it! It's so bright and bold! The Pansy Petals DSP (designer series paper) really steals the show here. The colors are so vibrant! I stamped a couple of pansies using Fresh Freesia (another pretty new In-Color) and Blackberry Bliss at the top of the inside of the card so they'd show through to the front when the card is closed.

The front panel of the card was made from the other half of the "dutch door". We just cut a slit down the middle of the front of the card then cut it off at the score line. Easy Peasy!

And there you have it! A quick and simple card for your Thursday!

HAPPY STAMPING!

Bright & Fun Cards that you wont be able to stop making!

 Howdy Stampers! :)

Today's cards just make me giddy! I LOVE the bright cheery colors so much that I couldn't stop making them! I love that the Sweet Strawberry stamp set is DistINKtive (it's shaded so it gives different levels of ink which makes it looks more realistic.)

And then.....Stampin' Up! added the Berry Blessings stamp set along with the Berry Delightful Designers series paper FREE for Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order and well, I just had to have the ENTIRE set!!! That paper, OMGosh. So bright and cheery!

So, I wanted to show you how I used the Strawberry Builder Punch. First, I punched a template out of a scrap piece of cardstock and then I stamped the images through those punch outs.

And viola! They're all in the correct spots for punching out!

Well, they would've been if I would've had my template with the correct side up! Whoops! See how the image on the right side of the punch is? I had my template upside down! LOL I had to flip my template over and start again. Good thing it was an easy fix! LOL!

Check out this not-so-plain gatefold. It has a hidden panel!

It opens in the center to reveal an extra set of squares! Confused? I was too at first so I made a quick video to show you. It's at the bottom of this post :)

This fold looks really hard but it's not hard at all. It's quite addictive once you get started.

The slides that "lock" the gate fold closed are also shown in the video.

Kylie Bertucci's Winner's Blog Hop

Whether you are a regular visitor or just hopping by, welcome to Kim's Kreative Korner! I'm so excited to be participating in the Top Ten International Highlights Winner’s Blog Hop December 2020 hosted by Kylie Bertucci! First, I want to thank you for taking the time to vote for my card in the gallery a couple of weeks ago. You can see that card HERE. There were so many amazing projects and I am honored to have my card receive so many votes!

Today I'm giving you a sneak peek of the beautiful new Flower & Field DSP from the upcoming Sale-A-Bration catalog. You will be able to earn this paper FREE with a $50 order!
I started with a Coastal Cabana Cardstock base. I took a 2x6 piece of the DSP that I cut into ½" strips and glued at an angle across a 4"x 5¼"piece of So Saffron then I snipped off the ends that were hanging over. I adhered that layer over the Coastal Cabana card base. I then embossed the thank you from Massive Thanks on a piece of Basic Black with Versamark and White embossing powder. I punched the sentiment and a white piece of background out with the Double Oval Punch available on January 5th!) I punched out 6 medium daisies and centers and glued them together after running the centers through the Tasteful Texiles Embossing Folder.
I stamped the cute saying from the Massive Thanks stamp set on the inside and added more of that gorgeous DSP to the envelope flap.
Fun huh?
I can't wait to see what all of the others on the hop made! Please click on the names below to see their awesome projects.
HAPPY HOPPING!
