Every Time a Bell Rings Christmas Means More Card

Hello Happy Crafters!

Today is Card #4 (the last one) in my Christmas Means More Series.

I love the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life." It's one of many of my Christmas favorites, so I am tickled about how this one turned out! It's a fun fold, but not hard to do.

I simply started with a piece of 4¼"x 11" Cherry Cobbler. I scored it at 5½" then I cut it at 2¾". That 2¾"x 4" piece is what I used for the focal image. I just turned it sideways.  I embossed the flap with one of the Wrapped in Texture embossing folders. I added a 2⅝"x 3⅞" piece of Shaded Spruce to the 2¾"x 4" piece of Cherry Cobbler . I stamped the sentiment on a piece of 2½"x 3¾" Whisper White and colored the bells with my Smoky Slate Blends. I tied a knot in the Silver Metallic Edged ribbon before using Tombow glue to add the entire panel to the card flap. Since the flap was embellished, I needed a strong adhesive to be sure it stayed in place.
I threaded a piece of linen thread through the jingle bells and tied them onto the knot then added Wink of Stella to the stamped bells.

The Tis the Season designer series paper is what really pulls this card together, imho. It's awesome! The layers inside the card are the exact same measurements as the Shaded Spruce and Whisper White pieces above. I stamped the bell and the holly in Memento Black ink in the bottom corner and colored them with my blends.
Of course the envelope flap needed some decorating too! That's the last card in my Christmas Means More series, but please don't forget about the big sale that's going on TODAY ONLY. Over 600 items in the catalog are on sale! Click on the picture below to view them all and please use the hostess code 4DRQ6V3J if your order is under $150

Elf Card

Hello there and welcome to card #3 in my Christmas Means More series.

This one is based on the movie Elf. It's so bright and cheery. It makes me smile just from the colors, let alone the sentiment! The designer series paper is from the Trimming the Town DSP pack. I just fussy cut the hat, the band and the feather. Super simple, right?!

I added the DSP to the inside and the envelope flap and used the Celebration Label Dies again for the sentiment.

Easy Peasy right?

It doesn't get much quicker than this. I hope you have a fun & cheery day today!

HAPPY STAMPING!

Grinch/Max Christmas Means More Card

 Hello Stamping Friends!

I hope you're having a great weekend. It's pretty low-key here today. It rained all night and is still sprinkling this morning, so it's just kinda blah. But....at least it's not snow! It's too early for that imho!

But, there's snow on our card today. I featured the Christmas Means More stamp set in the last post and I will on the next 2 posts to follow. Each sentiment is a line from a movie and today's feature is my favorite 😍

It's the line from the end of the Grinch movie (hence the Granny Apple Green color). I used the Celebration Labels dies for the sentiment. And doesn't our Snowflake Splendor DSP look like snowflakes from the movie too? It was a happy find when I was looking for something for the background of the card.

But, I think the star of the show is Max!!! Isn't he fun?!!!!
I used the circle from the Painted Label Dies (seen below) to cut a small section for his antler. I took a piece of linen thread, colored it with my dark Cherry Cobbler Blends an tied it around his head over the antler and used some of the Trimming combo ribbon for a collar.
Adorbs right?!
Okay, I know, it doesn't take much to make me happy. I'm like a grown-up playing with paper dolls, but seriously, you can do this too! All it takes is the right tools (and an overly exuberant imagination sometimes 😊 😂).

The inside is pretty calm - just stamp the holly and color with Blends.
I added DSP to the envelope flap (as seen in the first picture.)

Hehehe! So what do ya think?! I'd love to see your comments.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and don't forget to come back in the next couple of days to see my other creations using this adorable stamp set.

Until next time....

HAPPY STAMPING!
