February Stampin Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

     

I share my passion for stamps, ink & paper with a special flock of ladies called the "Stampin' Stray Ducklings". Whenever we're together, feathers fly because of all the fun we have! Today, my feathered (or notsomuch! LOL) friends & I are featuring Love. 

I have to tell you, from the minute I saw this set, I thought of my mom. Mom and I had a little quip where one of us would say, "Love you." The other would then say, "Love you more!" Then the other would say, "Love you mostest!" It was silly, but it's a fantastic memory I have - especially now that she's passed. Today's card is 100% in memory of my tiny, little firecracker of a Mom. I love you mostest Mom!

Stampin' Up really outdid themselves with this set. It's sooooo elegant and the Love You Always Specialty DSP makes it even more elegant - if that's even possible!

Just look at that shine. Amazing! And do you see how the "you more" is bendy, like the banner? They're photopolymer stamps so it's easy to manipulate their shapes on our acrylic blocks. Cool huh?!

This card went together super quickly. The die cuts and pretty paper do all the work for you. Quick, beautiful and elegant, this suite is a must have in any stampers collection.

♪ ♫ My Funny Valentine ♫♪

Are y'all ready for Valentine's Day? 

It's not really a big deal in our house, but hubby surprised me and is taking me to Arizona this year!

I have several friends that Winter there with their horses and I've been wanting to see it for a few years now. Yay me! We usually go to an all-inclusive or go on a cruise in the Winter, but this year hubby is remodeling two rooms so our vacation funds are being spent on the house. 

I'm super-stoked about that because one of those rooms is my craft room!!!

Love Card for the Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle

Hello and welcome to another edition of the Stray Ducklings Blog Waddle! 

Today we are showcasing new items in the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. 

My favorite cards are usually fun folds. I love this new take on the old favorite bridge fold. 

Using the Springtime Impressions die cut changed this from a straight bridge fold to a fancy one.
