Snowman Flip Flap

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!

I'm sure most of you are prepping for the fun to come. We are going to spend today with loved ones and have a quiet Christmas Day at home.

Today I want to share a card that is all the rage this season - the Flip Flap card. It was a big hit in class!

It's kind of like the old Waterfall cards where there are 3 or 4 flaps but this card only has one. I love it because it's fun and interactive.

My friend who received this for Christmas loved it too! She even messaged me! ;)

I love that a simple card can touch the lives of others. I feel like God put us on this Earth to do just that! How I love to make people smile! 😁 Doesn't this snowman just want to make you smile? I think he's simply adorable. And the puff paint on the snowballs & ground just make a fun effect, don't you think?!

A message reveals when the tab is pulled. Cool huh?

And no card is complete without some decorating inside and on the envelope (imho, of course 😉)

Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas!

Hugs,

~Kim~

Christmas Star

Hello there! I hope you are all doing well on this eve of Christmas Eve. Are you all ready for Christmas? I am, but I've been under the weather for a few days. I've been a bit zoned out. However, last night was the last night of a live Nativity Scene in a community not far from ours so my good friend, Barb, and I drove over to see it. It was pretty darn cool! I'll add some pics to the bottom of this post so you can enjoy it as well.

Today's card is one we made in one of my classes.

Isn't it pretty?! I love all the copper accents. AND the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements are on clearance right now! Get them HERE before they're gone!

Look at that shine. Gotta have some bling!

And of course we need to stamp inside the card & on the envelope ;)

I still can't believe Christmas Eve is tomorrow already!

And as promised, pics of the Live Nativity Scene

Check it out...camels in Illinois! How cool is that?!

I wish this picture of the angels would've been better :(

Christmas Cards for the Stray Ducklings December Blog Waddle

Ho!Ho!Ho!
It's time for the Stray Duckling's blog waddle! I just flew in from Florida so I'm trying to catch up. My feathers are really flyin' right now ;) Anyhow, you may have gotten here from Sue Boerner 's blog or you may be starting with mine. Either way I'm happy you're here!

Our them this month is Christmas and I don't know of any bundle in the Holiday Catalog that makes easier Christmas cards than the Perfectly Plaid Bundle.

Quick, simple, adorable! Don't you think?!

I was inspired to make this fold after I saw a pop out fold that Linda Bauwin did last year. You can see it HERE.

Since I did my fold differently, mine doesn't fold up the same way her's does.

I love taking different ideas and switching them around to make something similar yet different.

This card works with all kinds of Designer Series Paper and all different punches.

Won't YOU give it a try? I'd love to see what you create!
Sheryl Diemer is next on our blog waddle. I can't wait to see what she's sharing with all of us!
