Hello again!
Today I'm following up as promised on my last Iris post. This iris was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored using our Stampin' Blends. Look how smooth the color is. I did not do any shading. I simply colored them in. Easy Peasy.
Now what to do with that image???
Build a card around it, of course! :) Since I used Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose to color the low petals of the iris, I focused on those colors for my card base and layers. I had a scallop piece leftover from a card I made a while back so I added that for interest as well. The It Starts with Art Washi tape was the pop this card needed to draw out the So Saffron color in the iris'.
I stamped off another iris for the inside - just like the first card in this 3-part series. I think it adds a nice touch. What do you think?
And one more pic on what got me started with this series.
That's it for today. I'm hoping to get the last post from this series up and running for your viewing pleasure tomorrow. It's gonna be a busy weekend as I prep for my class next week.
